Jesus the Lion??
« on: June 13, 2009, 12:14:27 am »

I have heard and read from time to time that the Lion represents Jesus but is also found all around the world as a spiritual animal, chinese, hindu, india, etc?

Any comments?

I know not about it in China or India, but it is between them on the flag of Tibet--an extremely spiritual place.

The lions in china are also called the Guardian lions, celestial and there is a female and make lion, the male holds the sphere universe (flower of life) and the female holds a baby cub represents yin yang. Some say the lions mouth that is open is saying Om the primordial word. Maybe like Amen??

Interesting....  It was Paramhansa Yogananda's idea, indeed, that Amen is Aum.  Theosophists also see some connection from Egypt to India.
